Village of Pemberville Garbage Collection Information:

Garbage collection takes place at 7:00 AM on MONDAYS every week of the year. If Monday falls on one of the holidays below, garbage collection will take place on the following Tuesday:
    New Year’s Day
    Memorial Day
    Independence Day (July 4th)
    Labor Day
    Christmas

Collections will be made on property frontage on the street. Failure to have refuse at the curb on time will result in a missed pick up that week.

Collection costs are paid by the property owner on a “per bag tag”; Quarterly basis; or an annual basis.

Per Bag Tag: The 2013 cost for bag tags is $15.50 per 10-pack. These can be purchased at the Union Bank.

Quarterly Stickers: Three-month Stickers can be purchased at the Union Bank. The 2013 Quarterly Sticker costs $33.00 and allows for a maximum of 5 container limit.

Annual Basis Sticker: A Five Percent (5%) discounted rate of $125.40 will be offered to any Village Customer who pays for the annual tag by January 31, 2013.  If paid after January 31, the cost increases to $132.00.  To get the discounted rate, please contact Buckeye Sanitation, PO Box 72, Gibsonburg, OH 43431, Phone 1-800-281-6141.

Bulk Item Pick Up: Pick up charge will range from $2.50 to $10 for each bulk item. Each bulk item must have its own ticket, which can be purchased at the Union Bank

 

Collection does not include yard waste or grass clippings.
