2013 Pool Season
Summer will be here soon and that means it's almost pool season!  The Pemberville Pool is scheduled to open June 1, 2013. More information on 2013 pool memberships, admissions, swim lessons and swim team can be found on the Pool page.

2013 Garbage Collection Rates
Buckeye Sanitation has announced the 2013 garbage collection rates for the Village of Pemberville.  Rates and collection information can be found on the Garbage Pickup page.

 

Cellular Coverage in the Village
The Village has been investigating cellular coverage in Pemberville and has been informed that before the carriers will even open a ticket to investigate the issues they have to have a large number of customer service calls indicating an issue. Therefore the Village is encouraging Village residents to call their cellular carriers and log signal issues to assist with a possible investigation by the carriers into the lack of coverage.

Results Now Available From Community Survey
In the summer of 2011, residents of the Village of Pemberville and Freedom Township were asked to fill out a community survey. the results of that survey can be viewed here.

 

Pemberville Water Report
The Village of Pemberville 2011 Drinking Water Consumer Confidence Report is now available.  A copy of the report, as well as previous reports, can be found on the Water Department page.

Flood Committee

The Flood Committee has created a new page on the Village of Pemberville website as a resource for residents.  This page contains links and documents concerning flooding and floodplain management. The new page can be found here.

 

Help for Ash Tree Removal

Residents in Wood county who need help removing ash trees on their properties can apply for assistance through WSOS. Applications are at area libraries and must be submitted by November 24. The amount of financial help is linked to income. A Senior Center on Call Available from WCCOA
The Wood County Committee on Aging is offering this new service to eligible homebound older adults to assist then in participating in social, recreational, educational, emotional and spiritual programs.  A brochure with more details can be found here.

 

Village of Pemberville Curfew

Residents are reminded that the Village has a curfew for youth 17 years and younger per Ordinances 1065, 1358 and 1440 (passed 1-20-09).  If you see a youth out after curfew, please call the Pemberville Police at 419-287-3250.

 

 

Pemberville Opera House debuts new website

The Opera House now has a website at: www.pembervilleoperahouse.org  The site features the history of the Opera House, directions, listing of upcoming shows as well as ticket information.  Stop on over and check out what is coming up!
